Hi, i’ve just installed your plugin and followed your guide (https://www.angelleye.com/paypal-payments-pro-dodirectpayment-for-woocommerce-setup-guide/). I have the plugin activated but nothing appears on the checkout page.

Can you please guide me to activating the PayPal Website Payments Pro (DoDirectPayment) for my website ? My website is https://www.lanostalgiejewelry.com

Earlier when i activated the plugin it shows this message but the tabs appear just fine at the ‘setting’:

Warning: Attempt to modify property of non-object in /home/lanostal/public_html/wp-content/themes/north-wp/inc/visualcomposer.php on line 158

Warning: Attempt to modify property of non-object in /home/lanostal/public_html/wp-content/themes/north-wp/inc/visualcomposer.php on line 158

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/lanostal/public_html/wp-content/themes/north-wp/inc/visualcomposer.php:158) in /home/lanostal/public_html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1228

    -Thank You-

It looks like you have a problem with your theme. Can you try switching to one of the basic themes and see if the issue goes away? We just need to confirm the problem and then we can figure out how to fix it.

    Hi,
Thank You for your kind help. Yes, i think it is the theme, i tried switching the theme to the basic theme by wordpress ‘Twenty fifteen’,i’ve reinstall the paypal plugin and the installation went smoothly with no errors found.

How do i fix this? I would love this plugin to work with envanto theme i’ve purchased. May i ask how do i obtain an SSL certificate? I have already a business paypal account.

    Thank You

I would reach out to the theme developer and see what they can tell you about this. From what I can see, though, it seems that an included library in the theme (visualcomposer) is what’s causing the problem.

It looks like what’s happening is that the visualcomposer tool included with the theme is throwing some PHP warnings, and because of those warnings, that causes the “cannot modify header information” error.

If you were to simply disable error reporting in PHP (or just disable WP_DEBUG if that’s enabled) then those warnings wouldn’t happen and everything may work as expected.

That said, I don’t like to ignore warnings like that. It would be best if they can get it resolved in their theme.
