    Hi
I was at first a little confused with the setup at Siteground. A suggestion where talking about sites in addon or sub-domains, is to differentiate the word used to identify the primary domain and the addon domain. The use of the word ‘site’in the context in the instructions left me wondering if it meant the main site or the install site.

Anyway, following instructions I have the plugin set up on the main install and the addon domains beneath it. auto-append-file has been added to each domain from cpanel creating php.ini files in each referencing the wordfence-waf.php files which are present in each install domain top directory.

So the question is Have I completed the process? I ask because the optimize the Wordfenbce Application Firewall notice is still at the top of my WordPress Admin and I would like to be sure I can just dismiss this now. The big blue OPTIMIZE button for the firewall is also shown in the plugin dashboard which sort of makes me think I am not quite done?

    Can you confirm please.
    Thanks
    Ian

  • Hi @slipperx,

If you’ve confirmed that the auto_prepend_file field has been changed to wordfence-waf.php, you can dismiss the Wordfence Application Firewall notice.

    Hi again!

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’ve gone ahead and marked this thread as resolved.

If you’re still having issues with Wordfence, please feel free to open another thread!

    Thanks!
