Hi, I am new at this and trying to make my first page. I installed Genesis framework and a child theme with the theme developer’s recommended plug-ins, but when following the step-by-step on how to make the menu i noticed under “pages” and “view all”, there is only “home” and “sample page” listed – no “about”, etc etc. what am I doing wrong?

Do those “missing” pages actually exist? I.e. have you created them?

Er… nope. How do I create them? (Didn’t see that anywhere in any of the guides)

Well, you may be best enquiring on the StudioPress support, but in WP Admin > Pages > Add New, you can create a new page, title it how you like, add your content, and then Publish. You will now be able to see this Page in Appearance > Menus, and you’ll be able to show it in your menu. See here for help with pages and here for help with menus.
