Setting up Google Analytics

  • Hi,

    How do I add the Google Analytics code snippet to this child theme? I’m sure there must be a way of adding it to the functions.php folder, but I think it needs to be pasted between some php code?

    If I add the code snippet to the actual theme’s header.php, it doesn’t get detected. The Google Analytics by Yoast pluggin hasn’t worked for me either. Basically in Google Analytics, it continues to say “tracking not installed” for my tracking ID status.
