Setting up Google Adsense in Web Stories

    Hello! I’m trying to set up Google Ads to show in my web stories but am a little confused. I have added all of the required information within the plugin — logo, publisher ID, slot ID, etc.

    -Do I need to add any code to my actual theme to get the ads started?

    -Is there anything else I need to go to get the ads to start showing?

  • @jess2716 Thanks for your post. You don’t have to add any scripts or anything to the page. The plugin does this all for you after you fill in these settings.

    I can confirm the AdSense code has been correctly configured and once configured, AdSense will determine where and how to insert ads into the story. Please note that it can take some time before ads trickle in so it may just be a matter of waiting. For further assistance on monetizing with Web Stories, it is best to consult AdSense Help.
