Hi! I am trying to set up the fb:app_id via Facebook and have no idea what I’m doing and can’t get it to work:

    https://developers.facebook.com/docs/apps/register

I have followed the above link and don’t know what options to select. I just want Facebook to read my posts and format it correctly (pull the image and correct header). Right now it grabs the logo and website name twice.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

The app_id isn’t required so if you’re not currently using a FB app – ignore it.

Also looking at the code I’m fairly certain you’re not using this plugin as it doesn’t output the ogp image dimensions or article:publisher, yet your site is.

Good to know that I can ignore it – the specific page that I’m having an issue with is:

    https://www.cwacademy.org/mora-anderson-black-girlz-rock-honor/

When I try to insert the URL on Facebook for a post, it pulls the logo instead of the image and fills in cwacademy.org for the headline, description, and website.

I just scraped it with Facebook’s debugger – is there any way to fix my website so I don’t have to rely on Sharing Debugger for every post?

I still get this error message from Facebook – The following required properties are missing: fb:app_id

I see the scraper pulls the image for the post but I can’t really comment on how that plugin works as it’s not this plugin you’re requesting support from and I can’t debug a plugin I don’t know what it is and one that I’m not familiar with.
I think you’re still getting the fb:app_id warning because the plugin you’re using is outputting article:publisher… which I think requires an app_id as that’s usually a tag used with the SDK. But again… I don’t know how the plugin works that you’re using so I can’t comment to that.
As long as you have the featured image set and uploaded when you publish and FB first sees it… FB should pull it accordingly.
