Setting up category page to display adverts in 3 columns

Hi,
1. you can use [adverts_list] shortcode with “columns” attribute it will allow you to display 3 rows [adverts_list columns=”3″], please see https://wpadverts.com/documentation/creating-ads-list-adverts_list/ for more details.

2. similarly you can use “columns” attribute in [adverts_categories] shortcode https://wpadverts.com/documentation/displaying-categories-adverts_categories/

Thank you so much for your reply.

I know about those options. What I am struggling is with the category list that is build in already. So when I display the list of categories [adverts_categories columns=”4″ show_count=”0″] and then enter one of those lists I have no control over how those are displayed. They show always 2 columns. How do I change this.

Hi, ohh i see, changing this will require creating taxonomy-advert_category.php file in your theme directory and setting number of columns there.

How to do that you can find here https://wpadverts.com/documentation/child-themes-and-templates/ in Custom Taxonomy Template part, one difference would be that you will want to customize the last code snippet to
