• After upgrading the LearnPress plugin to v1.0 and WP to v4.4.1 what do you set for the Cart and Checkout pages in the Settings –> Checkout.
What content are these pages meant to have?
I am now unable to purchase a course.
Any course set to free does not have a ‘Take this Course’ button either.
Months of work setting up an LMS site now unable to use it.
Using Virtue theme from Kadence themes (Premium version 3.4.5).
The ability to take/purchase a theme was working prior to version 1.0

  • I’m having the same issue! The ability to view stats seemed to stop working after a wordpress update, so I figured I needed to update LearnPress, but now even more things are broken.

Yep, still waiting for a response on this.
Not good at all, was about to go live with a client site, but may now have to look at an alternative as the client is not happy at all, may loose a client over this.
This was such a promising LMS plugin, but the update to v1.0 has made it unusable.

    Hi guys,

I am really for any inconvenience you had,

We are still working on those issues. In your cases, please consider rolling back to older versions of LearnPress.

    Regards,

    Ken

A few questions Ken, is there a rough estimate of when the issues will be resolved?
I made some significant additions (new courses) to the site after the upgrade to version 1.0, rolling back to an earlier backup copy of the site (to bring it back to the older plugin version) will lose those additions.
If I uninstall v1.0 of the plugin and install the previous version, will it work with the updates that version 1.0 made to the database?
Where can I get a copy of the previous version of the plugin?

With the developers being very quite on all the issues with this Plugin, and no sign of any fixes forth coming, I will have to start looking for an alternative, meaning all the work I have so-far invested in setting up courses etc along with money paid for 2 premium addons will have to be written off. Lack of communication from the developers and little to no useful documentation have let this otherwise great plugin down.
Yes, I will more than likely express this experience in the reviews section, with a 1 star rating.
