Setting up a website

Hello everyone,

I have never used WordPress before but I understand that I might be able to create a website on it?? If this is true I need help. I’m trying to read through some of this stuff but unfortunately most of it is Greek to me. i.e finding a host//What does that mean? Can someone help me get started?
