Setting up a static home page

  • I can’t find how to have a static home page with excerpts of individual posts which have *read more* to go to the posts… Please go easy on me, I’m new at this! but I would sure appreciate help with this…

  • well – not being sarcastic, but – “static” means non-changing
    if you want normal blog action on the front page you need to deselect that option

    or am I missing something? I’m fairly slow
