setting up a photo gallery with albums as piles of photos

I would like to incorporate a photo gallery into my site where the various photo albums each appear as a stack of photos (arranged in a grid) on the main Photo Gallery page, and when a user clicks on a stack, it opens that album as a slideshow. Can anyone recommend a good plug-in that can do this nicely? I’ve briefly experimented with Lazyest Gallery and Lazyest Stack, but I don’t like the look & feel of the Photo Gallery page using this tool. Are there any better ones out there?
