Setting up a clean sheet

  • I have a domain I use as a sort of playpen to experiment in. I now want to clear everything out and start again with just the WordPress files on the domain server. What files/folders do I need to delete?

  • What you need to delete depends on what you have added.

    download WordPress & extract on your local computer, then compare the difference to move (dont delete them yet) the files / folders you dont need.

    Keep the wp-content folder intact. you can delete stuff from this folder from the admin console.
