• hello:

My blog is currently displaying a different zone and i want to change it. i want the blog to display in Pacific Time Zone (Los Angeles Time Zone), instead of Central Time Zone, which is the default time zone. How can I change it? I’ve looked under Options => General, but couldn’t get it to configure the time zone correctly.

Feedburner also has a different time zone and i want to change that one too.

    Thanks for any insight!

  • Why not just add or take the number of hours required so it shows your timeframe for posts? I’ve done this, where I’ve had to add +10 for Melbourne Australia and now all my posts show the correct time stamp for me.

how do I do that? could you please provide step-by-step instruction? thanks!

Login to your dashboard. Go to Options, then General and you’ll see a heading Date and Time half way down the screen. There you’ll find instructions about changing the time and anything else you want to do there. HTH.

i was there before, but couldn’t understand how to format it… i read the “Documentation on date formatting”, but still couldn’t get it to configure so that it displays Pacific Standard time zone, which is what i want.

could someone please share your insights on this? thanks!

I modified: “Times in the weblog should differ by:” to -7 under Options => General to reflect the correct time change taking place last Sunday. and it displays the correct time in CST (Central Time Zone). How can I fix this so that it displays PST (Pacific Time Zone or Los Angeles time)?

    appreciate any advice. thanks,

It should be -8 for PST.

Thanks for your response. I tried -8, but it wouldn’t display Pacific time; it still displays CST (-1 hour).

I have no idea what are you doing… I never get this kind of “minus whatever” displayed.
Maybe you are typing wrong data or into the wrong field?

glassshoes: Changing that number won’t change the displayed time on your old posts, only on new ones that you make. The time of the post is fixed at the time the post is actually made. If you want to change the time of the post, you have to edit the post and actually change the time of it on the right hand sidebar.
