I am based in Spain. I wanted to set up shipping as different amounts for each individual item depending on weight or size but I guess I would need to BUY a plugin for that. So my next option was to set a flat rate depending on whether it was Local, Europe or Rest Of World but could not find a way of doing that without setting a zone say Europe for example and actually having to tick each country individually to include it in that zone. Is that correct? Can I not just tick Europe somewhere and it automatically includes all countries in Europe?

    Hi there,

That’s correct – seeing as “Europe” is not a country, you’ll need to target the specific countries you need inside Europe into its own shipping zone. Also bear in mind that “Europe” should not be confused with the “EU” as there are countries in Europe that are not necessarily part of the EU (hence the need to set up specific shipping zones).

For more information on how to work with shipping zones, have a look at the following guide: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/setting-up-shipping-zones/
