When you put any value in the post type “Metabox callback” field, its edit/add view throws a critical error. Using the latest version and the latest version of WordPress. Earlier versions did not have this problem. So my purpose is to hide the meta-box of the related taxonomy by entering the value false in the field.

    Hi @delanet

Not managing to recreate at the moment.

    Screen Shot

Put in literal just the word false and that’s doing what it needs to to hide the metabox where appropriate. Anything else would need to be a function name that’s been defined, or else I could see things throwing fatal errors due to the function not being available.

What value or values have you tried?

Did you ever get this working @delanet ?

Yes, everything seems to be running OK now. Odd, because I’m pretty sure that previously the field just read “false” (without the quotes) and this caused the problem. But now I can’t do this again. So far it’s OK again.
