    To avoid “-scaled”, don’t use any images larger (in pixels) than the ‘big_image_size_threshold’ setting. This is 2560px by default, but themes or plugins could alter this. Or you could increase the threshold to match your typical image size through the filter by the same name.

    I’m not sure if “-jpg” is due to core WP, it’s likely due to an image optimization plugin you use. If I’m right, you should ask the plugin’s devs through their dedicated support channel for how to avoid “-jpg”.
