Setting Home Page?

There is probably a straightforward explanation that I’m missing but ive just set up a new site using the various templates consisting of a few pages I’ve set up, however the menu includes a Home Page that I cannot locate to edit or remove from the menu, neither can I see an option to point the home page to an alternative page?
