• hi and thanks for the plugin, this is a very useful adjunct to the BuddyPress arena. However, I’m having an issue on my site where a user sets Profile->Privacy_Settings->Hide=”Yes” and clicks “Save”. And when the privacy settings page is reloaded/reviewed, the option shows as “No”. This is a bit disconcerting.

Update: after rooting around a bit, I’ve discovered something interesting in the database. I believe you are storing the hide/show values in the wp_usermeta table and I see multiple records per user for the bpp_hide_directory key in there. This would imply that the value is being inserted each time the page is being viewed or submitted, instead of being updated. I hope this helps you fix the issue?

Thank you for alerting me to the issue. I’ll do some testing on my end before the next release and see what’s causing the issue.
