Setting featured image

  • I am trying to set the featured image for my latest blog post and all that is coming up is a ? icon. I’ve tried updating without the image and then trying again, reuploading the photo and regenerating the thumbnail. Nothing. All of the other photos in the post are fine. Please help!

  • A link to your site and information on your theme would be helpful information to share.

    You can also try deactivating all your plugins and checking if the problem persists. If it works, reactivate the plugins one at a time until you find which one causes the problem.

    Sorry, the link is https://jeanieandluluskitchen.com/quick-chicken-stir-fry/ and the theme I am using is Simple Catch. It seems to be isolated to this particular post because I published one after it and the featured image was just fine.

    I’ve had this issue happen again on a post I am trying to publish today. I tried deactivating all of my plugins and still cannot set my featured image, all that I can get is a ? in its place. For some reason the one that I mentioned above now has a small featured image after I hit regen thumbnails again, but it is not the full sized image. This post today I can’t even get a small one to appear. The issue is only with the featured image, the pictures are fine in the actual post. Again, I am using Simple Catch and my website is jeanieandluluskitchen.com. Thank you in advance for any help someone can give me, this is incredibly frustrating.
