Setting custom text for reference text with link

    Setting the text for the reference text with a link is a totally pain in the a*s. Something really ugly happens when the text is stored in the database.
    I had to manually format the link in the wp_options table (gwolle_gb-notice). Would be cool if this gets fixed in a future update.

    Hi,
    Sorry for your frustration, but links are not supported in that text.
    What kind of link do you need to be added?

    There is an update waiting for the Privacy policy being a link to the correct page.

    Ah ok I didn’t know that! Yeah it is the ink for the privacy policy. For now I solved it by manually editing the entry in the database to display the link correctly. I’m waiting for the update and then update the section.

    Marking as resolved, but it’s only really resolved next thursday when WordPress 4.9.6 comes out.
    You can then go to Dashboard > Settings > Privacy and select/create a page for the Privacy Policy.
