Hi, I’m looking for help with the nimble builder and setting custom anchor links. I am trying to make my own website. It is not launched yet. In one of my pages I put a ‘REGISTER HERE’ button module (in the middle of the page-not in the menu) that when clicked I would like to jump to a registration form that I have in another section at the bottom of same page.

I opened the section with the form and set the anchor to: register, then I went back up in the button module and set the anchor to:#register and set up the button link to same page. I thought that would do it. I tried different ways but can’t seem to make it jump. Any help appreciated. Thanks!

    Hello,

If the #register anchor is the target you want to point to from the button, you need to define a custom link in the button module, not an anchor.
So the solution is to set the anchor for the target section as you already did. And when editing the button module, select Link to > Site content or Custom url , then in the link url, select Set a Custom url, and enter #register.

Thanks for opening the topic, it might help other users.

Hello Eduardo. Were you able to figure it out? I just did as Nicolas explained and it worked.

    1. Go to the Section target and then set the anchor to: pointer or register or any way you want to call the anchor (Without the #)

    2. Go to the button module: (Don’t set another anchor here or type a complete custom link, That was what I was doing before)

    When editing the button module:
-Just select Link to > Site content or Custom url,
-Then in the link url, select Set a Custom url,
-And type #pointer or #register. (Don’t type the whole address the https://mysite.com/#pointer just enter #pointer or #the name you called the anchor without the http:etc..)

    Hope it works.
