On the Add / Edit course pae under the box for entering content there is “Namaste Settings” section. In it you have:

“Students need to pay a fee ….” with a box to enter price.

I’ve added the “students need to pay a fee” for my course, and have paypal and stripe set up. But all I see is “you must login to enroll”. There is no option to purchase the course. Is it possible to see an example of how this should look when functioning properly? I’ve only seen screenshots of free courses, so far.

    Thanks,

Users must be logged in first, nothing in the LMS works for non logged users.

    Hello,

why you did it this way so user always need to be logged in? This way he can not see the lessons list, or have a chance to see few first lessons for free to find out is this what he need or not.

Also I have a question. When I try to show the enroll button with [namaste-enroll] shortcode (even if user is logged in) I have this message:

Notice: Undefined variable: stripe in .../wordpress/wp-content/plugins/namaste-lms/controllers/shortcodes.php on line 89

But I’m not using Stripe payment gateway.

    Thank you very much.

Because to see a lesson you need to be enrolled in the course. Otherwise it’s not LMS but just public lessons. You can include information for the public in regular posts or as part of the course page (course pages are visible for everyone unlike lessons so you ca use them to advertise what’s in the course.

I’ll fix the “undefined variable” notice shortly, for now please just enter some Stripe settings to avoid it (they can be fake)

I think there is a misunderstanding. This problem surfaced while I was logged in as admin.

Your question was answered first, then the discussion took elsewhere ??

    we’ll change this soon

    Hi,
I created a course.I also mentioned that the student need to pay the amount for the course. Now when any logged in user clicks the enroll button it mentions ‘you are logged in as so and so?where has the payment option gone ?I mean it does not specify anything related to payment? How to see the payment option then on enrolment or any time?I have included everything required for payments in the settings and payment require for the enrolment for a particular course too.
