setting available dates

Hi, I’ve installed your plugin, gone to manage items and created a new item. Under availability rules I’ve set 3 dates that are bookable, however when I go to my product on the front end, it seems to let users pick any date they want… What am I doing wrong?

Surely there must be a way other than me setting all other dates in the year as un-bookable, as this will take ages…
