I want to create a single page on my blog which has Categories as rows. Under each category I want to show multiple products the buy button to each should take user to Amazon site.

How to do this. The current Add Product feature creates a new page for each product, dont want that. I have added a base page from Woo Commerce settings.

That’s correct. If you add a product to WooCommerce, each product is separate from one another and can be accessed on it’s own page.

If you don’t want these to be individual products in WooCommerce, you wouldn’t want to use WooCommerce for what you described.

Otherwise if you want you can set the visibility of these products to be hidden from your shop. That way when browsing your normal “Shop” page, you wouldn’t see any of these products listed.

Thanks Phil. Are you aware of a plugin which enables adding products this way?

You mean being able to add products to your site, but not have them included in WooCommerce? No. I am not.

If you want to use WooCommerce for these, you can hide the products from your shop with the visibility settings. However if you’re using WooCommerce to add a product, that product will behave just like any other product in WooCommerce.

Based on what you originally described. You could just add a fixed image/thumbnail to this page and link that out to your affiliate link.

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
