    Sorry that you ran into issues here!

    When you mark the Business Directory page as “private”, that will make it so the directory no longer displays at all. Private pages are only visible to admins and editors.

    What you need to do is add a membership plugin that restricts access to URLs on your site. Restrict Content Pro might be a good fit for you here.

    You’ll want to put the login and registration URLs for your membership plugin under Directory Admin->Manage Options, General tab, “Registration” section after you install it and we’ll redirect to them for the appropriate phases of the user’s journey.
