Set VAT number zero the VAT value

This behaviour is likely due to the VAT exemption feature that’s usually enabled for businesses. If a valid VAT number is entered, the system might be set up to exempt the VAT.

To troubleshoot the issue further, may I know how did you add the VAT exemption feature? Did you use any plugins?

For better assistance, can you provide screenshots showing the tax setting page on your end? For screenshots, you may use https://snipboard.io. Please follow the instructions on that page and then paste the URL into this thread.

Additionally, could you share a copy of your site’s System Status Report with us? You’ll find it at the top of the page under WooCommerce > Status > Select Get System Report and then Download for Support. This will download a TXT file containing the SSR’s contents to share with us. Thanks for sharing further details.

I noticed you hadn’t set Germany as the country for the Fixed-rate tax. Instead, it’s set to global. This might be causing the issues. Could you please specify Germany as the country and see if it resolves the problem?

If this makes no difference, it would be best to reach out to the WooCommerce EU/UK VAT Compliance plugin developers for further assistance. Unfortunately, I can’t test the exact settings as yours since I don’t have this plugin installed on my testing site.

I have not set Germany as the country of the tax because the request of the customer was to have a fixed VAT value for all over the world, i.e. all orders need to have a fixed equal to Germany’s VAT % value.

I have checked it, setting the FixedSetTax to Germany rate apply the correct VAT only to order coming from Germany and not from other country, I need to have a fixed VAT rate in any case.
