Set up and then transfer?

  • I currently have a site up and running, coded in HTML5 and CSS3. I am rewriting the site (hopefully)in WordPress. I am hosted on Godaddy. Can install the wordpress site right with the HTML site, set everything up and then be able to activate the WordPress site? Would I have to install it in a separate folder now and if so, can I transfer it later?
