Set up 3 separate "blogs" or RSS feeds on 3 separate pages
-
Hi,
We’re developing a wordpress website and blog hosted on GoDaddy. We’d like to create blog posts that are addressed to three different audiences (e.g., dog owners, cat owners, horse owners). We think it would be easiest for our visitor if they can go to a particular page and see only see blog posts specifically relating to their interest.
Right now we’ve got it set up with 3 categories representing the three audiences, so the post author can assign the post to one or more of those three categories. Currently, all our posts show up in the same blog page regardless of their category. We don’t want them all showing up together. We’d like Category 1 posts to go into a page dedicated to Type 1 audiences, Category 2 posts to go into a page dedicated to Type 2 audiences, and Category 3 posts to go into a page dedicated to Type 3 audiences. Make sense?
My searches have shown tips that RSS feeds can be set up to only send out posts for specific categories. However, I have not been able to find any information that tells me if I can have those category-based RSS feeds show up on separate pages in my website. Is there a way to set up pages to show category-specific RSS feeds? Is there another way to accomplish the end result we want, namely specific content targeting specific audiences (so particular audiences do not get information irrelevant to them).
Thanks for any ideas!
