I set up 2FA with an app for my WordPress Admin account. I was then prompted to set-up methods for other users and turned these off because I do not want other users to use 2FA for now.

Now, when I try to log in as WordPress Admin I am prompted to set up 2FA but no methods are shown! I am in a loop. How do I fix this?

    Thanks

    Hello @pjwx

I am sorry to read about your issue and for taking long to get back to you.

That should have never happened and we are updating the plugin to make sure this does not happen to anyone.

In the meantime, to regain access simply rename the plugin folder (/wp-content/plugins/wp-2fa/) and log back in to the website. By renaming the folder the plugin will be disabled. Once logged in, rename the plugin folder back so it is activated again.

In regards to the plugin configuration, if you do not want the users to configure 2FA do the following:

    1. Configure 2FA for you
    2. Exclude all the other users or their roles

There is no need to disable the methods. I hope the above helps. Should you need any further information please do not hesitate to ask.

Thank you for using the plugin.
