set time zone

  • This may be a dumb question. Can anyone tell me how to set the correct time at the wordpress admin panel? Thanks.

  • You have to know your own time zone, your server’s time zone and the difference compared to GMT (UTC). Use +/- in the box that says: “…should differ…”

    In the admin panel, under Options -> General. There is a field for difference in hours from UTC.
