• I’ve installed and started adding comics, but I’m confused on how to just have thumbnails appear on the homepage (body area) which link directly to the latest published comics. Is there a way to just have the thumbnails load in the body as they are published and the others move down?
    Thanks, Suzy

I’ll add that I have it set up using a widget,(thumbs above blog) but it’s not working as I wish it to, and it’s making the thumbnails differnt sizes when they are all the same size. Am I creating comics using the comic section, or the blog section? Should there even be a homepage? I will say that I haven’t as yet seen decent instructions on how to set this up.

I would like the homepage to look the way the “comic” page looks which is a row of 3 or 4 thumbs across, and then 2 rows. Not one thumb below another in the body area.

Okay, let’s say I basically have it set up and understand how the featured image is the actual comic, but what i want is to be able to assign each comic an original thumbnail, separate image from the featured image. And I have one comic post that has 7 images, what do you do in a case like that?

    There’s a plugin called

post thumbnail editor, by sewfaply(sp?) which allows you to crop the thumbnails however you want

but original thumbnail? hrm.. not sure how you can do that there might be a plugin for it

as for the home page thumbnail list, that’s all CSS you can float the individual boxes so that they line up as you want them

Yes thanks… I built a custom homepage to showcase the thumbnails that lead to the actual posts/comics. Now the issue is is we wanted in the sidebar on either side, Latest Comics, or Most Popular to be able to have the custom thumbnails there (square shape) so all lined up, rather than a small vesion of a really long comic.

I could custom do those also, but the point is for the client to be able to take over once assembled.

Let me know if you think of anything…

You can CSS the thumbnail box to have a float on it then they all line up <– –> horiz instead of vert
