Set the first post image as featured image – for imported posts

    I just imported 75 posts into my site from a former wordpress site, and attempted to set the featured image to the first image from the post with this plugin. In the preview step, none of the posts with no current featured image have a future featured image. In the posts, there are multiple images in the body of the post, but not attached to the post in the media chooser (but they are attached in the site that I exported from). Is there anyway to bulk set featured images from an image in the body of the post?

    Update: I was able to manually attach included images to several posts but the plugin is still not updating those featured images.

    Hi Acon, the images had to be uploaded into the media library of the same wp installation as the website.

    The URLs of the images in the posts must point to these images.

    Otherwise the plugin can not work.

    Till now the plugin does not work with posts from external feeds.
