Set the default starting image to most recent file in folder

I’m using the slider to display a timelapse of a group of photos. My slider currently shows images in chronological order and I have it set to not autostart. Is there a way I can set the first image displayed as the most recent image in the folder and then have the slider cycle through the remaining images starting from the oldest one once I press play?

Alternatively, is there a way to open the page and have the first image shown be the last one in the slider?
