• Hi,
I need to have a page without a title and from quick editing, once I have chosen the right template (“no title page”) and saved it, I have always the default one.
    Is it maybe a bug?
    Thanks in advance.

Hey @jospic – that definitely sounds a little unusual. Just to clarify – this only happens when you change the template that is used within Quick Edit?

Are you able to take a screencast/video of this happening to show me?

Hi @jordesign, thanks for the reply.

Of course, here is the video you requested:

I only see the possibility to choose the template in the quick edit, in the sidebar of the complete edit it is not shown…

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi there,

    I couldn’t reproduce it: https://d.pr/v/MwS7AL

Do you know if maybe your hosting (or one of your plugins) is adding some odd external object cache? This looks a lot like an object cache issue (keeping this query info from the database on the template instead of updating it).

    Hi,

it seems that the problem only occurs on a specific page: in my case the homepage. However, I solved it by setting the template from the theme’s interactive editor.

Hi @jospic – with the home page, are you referring to the page set as the Static Front Page in your site’s settings?

If so – that page will always use the Front Page or Blog Home template from the theme, instead of the generic page template.
