Full Width Footers and Headers
-
Hi. Is there anyway to control the width of the headers and footers (i.e. the default table width that’s set to 600px)? I want full-width footers and headers like most modern email templates use, and then the 600px width is fine for the email content all-though it would be nice to be able to control that value also.
I bought the pro version thinking I could create a custom template to accomplish this since it didn’t seem to be accessible via the regular version. The problem I’m having is that even when I use a custom HTML template and insert the {sp-content-area-one} tag to access the content, the formatting of the email content gets removed in the final sent email when using a custom template though it’s preserved when using a cloned default template.
I tried inserting
<style>table{width:100% !important;}</style>
into Page > Edit Page Header HTML (which seems to be as high as you can go in the email document). This works while in the visual editor but these changes do not show up in the final sent email (I would have to figure out another work around to preserve the 600px content width but I was just using that to test and see if these changes would be possible at all first). How can I accomplish full width headers and footers in my email?
