Set status when creating order?

    Is it possible to set the status of an order when creating?
    We have a “quote” status and it would be very handy to set that along with the other fields

    yes, you can set order status at tab “Settings”.

    Thanks for the reply. I did see that, however I’d like to be able to set it on the fly when creating an order because sometimes we’ll need to create quotes and sometimes we’ll need to create normal orders.

    try demo , use button “put on hold” and you will get “draft ” order.
    probably, it will suit your needs

    Thanks for the reply. That will get it done with a few extra steps (editing the order after). It would be nicer/faster to do it while creating the order using your plugin though ??

    option “Show order status” was added in version 3.2.5
