Set slider to auto is not sliding nor manually

Have you set the number of posts for the slider and do you have enough posts tagged to be featured?

If you only have one post tagged or if you are not using the tag and only have one sticky post then that is the only post that will be pulled in and in that case neither the arrows will show nor will the slider auto slide.
