Set size of images?

Is there a way to call custom images sizes based on the normal wordpress “add_image_size” custom size?
Example: I have a custom image size of 800w x 500h. I am using the add_image_size function to make this image upon upload.
Now i want the slider to call that custom size…
Possible?
