Set Senders Email as From Email

    Hi,

    How do I configure a form so that the email address input in the Email field by the person who submits a form is the “From” email address in the email sent to the administrator.

    What I want to do is, when I click on “Reply” in the email that was submitted by a person using the contact form on our site, that the “To” field is automatically populated with the email address this person provided in the “Email” field in the form.

    Is this possible? If it is, could you please explain how to do it?

    Hello @nevrsmer
    You can’t select the user entered email as ‘Form’ email. The ‘Form’ email must be the admin email or an email associated with your domain for example [email protected] or [email protected].

    But you can resolve the Reply-To issue by using user email as Reply-To email. So the admin will receive the email as you set your form email but when he will click Reply the user email will come up.

    Hello Jeff,

    Thank you very much for the reply and for going out of your way to create the video. I very much appreciate it!!

    With your help, I figured out how to configure the email sent to the administrator, as well as the automated email sent to he person who submits a form, so that the From address is correct, and that if Reply is clicked, it goes to the appropriate/wanted email address.

    If anyone reads this, this is a fantastic email from that is very fast, and that has lots of features that are usually only included in premium email forms. Also, the support is great!
