    Hi there,

I’m quite new to mailpoet and seriously consider using it extensively.
I’ve discovered and really like to ability to create segment base on user role, which is a great way ton interconnect mailpoet with wp at large.

Actually, this is great, but it would be absolutly awesome if the segment could also be based on capabilities !
Intertwining capabilities may enable really fined tune segment based on memberships, event registrations, etc.

Also, as secondary idea, could be to set segment base on user groups (as groups can simplify capabilites management) in some case, but this is sub-critial compare to capabilities, which are part of wp-core and not plug-in based

    Regards

    Hi @jbonlinea,

Right now, it’s possible to create segments based on actions (by a general number of opens, opened/not opened, and clicked/not clicked links), WordPress User roles, custom fields, customer’s conditions and WooCommerce subscriptions.

You can combine some conditions to create a very specific segmentation. To read more about it, check this article:

You’re welcome to suggest more segmentation options at?https://feedback.mailpoet.com

Our team will take it into account when discussing new features and improvements for the plugin ??

    Thank you!

    Hi
    thank’s for your reply
yes I’m aware of all that, i just think in some use case segmenting by capabilities might be very powerfull (if you grant capabilities based on membership registration, event attendence, etc…)

    regards
