Set Regex box to “checked” by default?

  • We have a lot of traffic that comes in with query strings and parameters at the end of the URL.

    This requires us to have the Regex box checked in order to successfully redirect that traffic when we change a permalink.

    I’d like to be able to set that box to ‘checked’ by default. Is that possible?

    This isn’t something I would recommend. Regular expression matches should be the exception, not the norm.

    I’ve searched high and low for a solution to this. We’re see a lot more traffic come in with parameters. If you can direct me to a creative way to redirect this traffic I’d be very grateful.

    I’m scared to experiment and risk creating an infinite loop!
