Set quantity of a variable product in ebay

You must provide an actual stock value to eBay, they require it, you cannot have unlimited stock. So your options are the following:

1.) Provide a quantity in the quantity field of the edit product page in Woocommerce when viewing each variation. This quantity value will be sent to eBay when listing items to eBay through WP-Lister.

2.) Or for eBay, you can use the “Custom quantity options” in the listing profile to provide custom stock levels for your eBay listings.

If you don’t see any “Quantity” or “Stock” field when viewing the “Variations” tab of the “product data” section in the edit product page, you will need to make sure you enable the global stock management setting in Woocommerce.

i didn’t understand very well how woocommerce stock works.

If I have only one size m shirt to sell, I put in stock and that I only have 1 size in stock, right?

or if I sell only 1, do I not have to manage the warehouse?

You still need to manage stock and set it to “1” even if you only have 1 quantity.

Yes, but only if you are using Pro. Only WP-Lister Pro for eBay supports updating Woocommerce stock from eBay sales and vice versa, this feature is known as “Synchronize Sales”.

In WP-Lister > Tools > Check product inventory, you could use this feature to update stock levels from WC to eBay and find discrepancies in stock as well.

But to update stock from eBay to WC, the stock sync is not available in Pro, so you cannot update stock from eBay to WC with a click of a button (manually), you would need to update stock in each product in WC.

ok the last thing i wanted to ask is this:

above you said i need to put on 1 in stock even though i only sell 1 piece. but if I do this then in the woocommerce shop page it comes out as if I have 2 products, instead I have 1. how can I avoid this problem?

Sorry I don’t follow.

If you are inserting 1 stock in Woocommerce and 2 stock is available for purchase on your website for a simple listing or a single variation, then you would need to ask Woocommerce support about that.
