When a user posts / publishes an ad – how do they change it back to a draft?

Once an ad is published, the only options are “Edit” and “Delete”.

Is there an option I’m missing? Or some code I can add?

    Thanks,
    Dave

    Hi Dave,

Sorry, currently we don’t have the option to change it back to a draft after it published.

    Thanks

    ?? SO sad…

Any advice on what to tell users when they want to temporarily take their post down?

It would be a shame to tell them to delete their post (which includes all the text and photos), and have to upload everything again.

It seems like this should be do-able, since there IS a ‘draft’ option when first writing a post.

    Thanks,
    Dave

I found that if I log in as a site admin, and change a user’s post to “Draft” on the WordPress Posts admin page, when the regular user go back to manager their listings, the listing is now in ‘draft’ mode.

I’m thinking of trying to do the code modifications to add a ‘Change to draft’ button on the ‘manage listing’ page, which would change the post status to “Draft”.
