Set product image not working

    Hi,

    Basically when i try and add a new product i go to the set product image, click on on the image i need (correctly resized), after pressing insert image it goes back to the edit product screen and no image shows.
    So i then click set product image again, and now there is a grey box in the fetrue image box next to the image i originally selected.

    So far i have
    updated all plugin, wordpress and woo – no fix
    disabled all my plugins – no fix
    increased the memory to 256 – no fix
    added the setenv magik thread limit in htaceess – no fix
    changed theme to twenty seventeen – still happens in this.

    Any other suggestion would be greatly received.

  • I’m having a similar issue at the moment.

    I’m currently unable to set a new product image. When I click on “Set product image” ,or “Remove product image” for products that have an existing image, I get taken to the top of the product editing page instead of having a window open up allowing me to upload a new image.

    Hey @rimmer100,

    This kind of problem is usually caused by either a conflict with your theme or with another plugin.

    The best way to determine if the issue is being caused by a theme and/or plugin is to temporarily switch your theme to Storefront and disable all plugins except for WooCommerce. If you can install plugins, install Health Check. On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you while you’re logged in to that session without affecting normal visitors to your site. Note that Health Check may not count Storefront as a default theme, so you can also use Twenty Seventeen as well.

    If that resolves the issue, then one-by-one you can switch back your theme and re-enable your plugins, testing in between, until you find the one causing the conflict.

    Hi sorry to reopen this one.
    I broke my site last time trying to fix the issue lol ?? so had to create again from fresh.

    I am now suffering the same issue, all plugins have been disabled, i have tested using default theme and still get the same issue, any suggestions would be great.
