    Hi,

I am checking out the multi currency plugin and am considering buying it. I would like to set prices for my products in Euro, however I would like to set Bitcoin as the default currency on my website.

I know I can set the Euro as a default in settings and then set product prices in Euro and maybe send people to the https://myurl?wmc-currency=BTC . However when I set Euro as default currency it will show the exchange rate of a BTC as 0,000 against the Euro. And therefore show bitcoin price as 0, it seems it can’t deal with more numbers after the comma.

While the exchange rate for BTC is 0,000032258064516 against 1 euro. It seems the plugin can’t get around that.

As the Bitcoin is quite volatile, for the time being I do like to set prices in Euros, but do show the prices in bitcoin as default for my visitors. How can I achieve this?

I also would like to show bitcoin in Sats rather than whole BTCs because that eliminates the amount of zeros.

So 3030 sats instead of 0.00003030 bitcoin

Is there a possiblty to add a maginfiying factor on the bitcoin prices and apply the unit of sats instead of btc?

    Regards,
    Johan

  • Hi Johan,

Please go to plugin settings/Update and increase the rate decimals to 7 or 8 then you can solve the issue with this rate 0,000032258064516

Sats is not a currency so you can not set currency as BTC and display price in sats.

    Best regards
