Set post Featured Image using embedded image

    Can Postie be configured to set the post Featured Image using the first image embedded within the email body – versus – an image that is attached to the email? The vendor sending us emails can only embed images in the email message body, i.e. they can’t send the image as an attachment. Is there a way Postie can scrape the first image from the email message body and use that as the post Featured Image? Thanks!

    Postie uses the first image it encounters in the email as the featured image. It doesn’t matter if it is considered an attachment or an embedded image.

    Thank you for the quick response! Postie isn’t pulling in the first embedded image from the email message body. I will run the test/debug tool to see if it’s an issue on our end. Thanks!

    Please note that the first embedded image may not be the first image in the email. The order they are added to the email is more important.
