• Hi,

I am using the feed to post feature, and the link is set correctly in the post title by your plugin. However, this seems to be overridden by the permalink of the post such that clicking on the post title takes you to the post. I would like to set it up such that clicking on the title opens the external link set by the plugin in the title. Hence:

-How do I make the plugin update the permalink
    or
-How do I make the plugin override the permalink

right now, you can either have the title link to the post on your web site (by default) or have the title link to the external site (by checking the box to make this happen). Are you trying to do something else?

have the title link to the external site (by checking the box to make this happen)

That’s exactly what I want, but it doesn’t work. The plugin correctly sets the url in the title with the class=”colorbox” attribute, but somehow this url gets overridden by the post’s permalink, which still points to an address within my domain.

On clicking the title, I thus end up on the post page, where I can see the title as the full link:

    <a href="www.example.com" class="colorbox">Title text</a>

I’m not sure what’s going on. This is the WordPress template I’m using, although I’m working locally: https://themes.themolitor.com/dailypress/
