On WP 2.8.3, “editor” level users do not see the Attributes section that would allow them to set the parent page when creating/editing a page. Is this normal behavior, and if not, how can I fix it?

I did install the WP-CMS Post Control Plugin hoping to simplify the editor screens for novice users. I’m not sure if that is responsible for this issue or if this is default behavior. I’ve since deactivated this plugin but it has not changed this issue. So I’m wondering if this is normal or if this plugin has screwed up my WP in some way that it doesn’t reverse when disabled.

    Thanks for any guidance…

This was a foolish mistake on my part – “Attributes” was unchecked in Screen Options. Sorry all.

    It is not normal behaviour.

Editors can see that attribute, that is arrangement option of page hierarchy.

I think it has been caused by the plugin.

You can uninstall the plugin by “deleting” it from the plugin management panel, if you find a file “uninstall.php” in the plugin folder.
