Currently, the requested feature is not supported in the plugin. However, we will investigate the requirements and will try to implement them in the future.

Yes, You can use following APIs to update Document section page setup and add page numbers in Word Document

PUT ?/words?/{name}?/sections?/{sectionIndex}?/pageSetup Updates page setup of section.

PUT ?/words?/{name}?/PageNumbers Inserts document page numbers.
