Set of icons in editor. What are they?

  • Hello,

    I’ve got these icons in my editor, and I don’t know where they came from and I can’t get rid of them. I’ve tried disabling all of my plugins including Jetpack but they still persist. Anyone know what this is and how to disable it? I can’t use the NextGen gallery plugin because these buttons are in the way of the NextGen button to insert a new gallery. I’ve got the NextGen plugin on another site and it works fine and these icons aren’t displaying in the editor.

  • Some themes also add such icons when authors include functions which should be in a plugin into their themes. What theme are you using?

    It’s Corporate 2.0 from NewWpThemes. I don’t see any settings in the theme editor for removing them.

    default troubleshooting procedure would be to switch temporarily to the default theme Twenty Twelve, to see if that removes the icons.

    second, to deactivate all plugins, to see if that removes the icons.

    then you can reactivate one plugin at a time to try to locate which one was causing the problem.
